CARRIER RECOVERY DEVICE FOR WET ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier recovery device for a wet electrophotographic printer capable of enhancing the carrier recovery efficiency and restraining the environmental contamination. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a drying roller 220 rotating while coming into contact with a photoreceptor belt 140 and absorbing liquid carrier remaining on the belt 140, a heating roller 230 vaporizing the absorbed liquid carrier by heating in contact with the roller 220, a manifold 210 surrounding the rollers 220 and 230 and storing vaporized gas carrier, a condensation tank 280 receiving and condensing the gas carrier from the manifold 210, a supply line 270 supplying the gas carrier in the manifold 210 to the tank 280, and a return line 271 resupplying the gas carrier which is not condensed and left in the tank 280 to the manifold 210.
