Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance mechanical strength and resistance to solvent cracking and to reduce photomemory and transfer memory and to improve electricity resisting characteristics. SOLUTION: This electrophotographic photoreceptor comprises a surface layer containing a polymer having structural units represented by formula I and a photosensitive layer containing a specified bisazo pigment and a specified perylene pigment and one or both of Y-type phthalocyanine and A type phthalo- cyanine. In formula I, X is a -CR9 R10 -, 2-10C α,ω-alkylene, or 5-11C 1,1- cycloalkylene group, or a simple bond, or a -O- or -S- atom, or a -SO- or -SO2 - group; each of R4 and R10 is an H atom or a trifluoromethyl or 1-6C alkyl or 6-12C aryl group; and each of R1 -R8 us an H or halogen atom or an alkyl or alkenyl group or the like.
