Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door device which is excellent in an outside appearance in the case of a closed door and is not hindrance in the case of opening and closing a door. SOLUTION: A rail 4 about L-shaped in a plane-sight is composed of a main rail part 2 along an opening part 1 and an auxiliary rail part 3 projecting from the end of the main rail part 2 to the opening part 1 in an about rectangular direction. A sliding door 5 having an length about equal to the length of the main rail part 2 is composed of a sliding door main body having a long lateral width and a wing panel 7 which is rotatably attached to both the sides of the sliding door main body 6 and short in a lateral width. The sliding door 5 is travelably attached from the main rail part 2 over the auxiliary rail part 3.
