Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a belt tension providing device by which reduction of a space is enabled with a simply configuration by reducing the number of components. SOLUTION: The belt tension providing device 15 is formed by a pulley 19, and a holding member 20 provided with a pulley holding part 22 to turnably hold the pulley 19, an installation part 24 to be installed on other members and an elastic part 23 to be elastically flexed supported the installation part 24 and tension is provided to a timing belt by abutting the pulley 19 held by the pulley holding part 22 on the timing belt with specified pressure. Consequently, the belt tension providing device 15 is simply constituted of two components of the pulley 19 and the holding member 20 and the number of the components are reduced. Furthermore, since the holding member 20 itself is elastically flexed, other energizing members are unnecessitated and the space is reduced. Therefore, the small-sized and low cost belt tension providing device 15 is provided.
