Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuse which has no thermal effect on a bulb and no possibility of breaking the bulb, without giving ill influence to its fusion property or the like. SOLUTION: A bulb 10 which has a glass tube 11 with a pinch seal portion at one end is provided with a fuse to electrically connect one of a pair of inside lead wires connected to filaments 12 provided in the glass tube 11 to one of a pair of metal foils 27, 27 embedded in the pinch seal portion, at least part of the fuse being embedded in the pinch seal portion and connected to one metal foil 27. An area connected to one metal foil 27 for the fuse is formed in a coiled shape and an area embedded in the pinch seal portion for the fuse is also formed in a coiled shape.
