Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a shock caused in accordance with changes of a vehicle acceleration at the time of release operation and connection operation of a clutch. SOLUTION: When a gear shift demand of the transmission is detected, output of an engine is controlled to reduce and engine torque transmitted to an input shaft of a transmission through a clutch from an output shaft of the engine to a set value Ti determined by an engine torque at the time of gear shift demand and gear shift stage (execution of steps 208, 209, 207) so that a first time inflection point occurs at substantially zero of vehicle acceleration in a fluctuation characteristic curve of vehicle acceleration obtained by the control of engine outputs. Moreover, after the control of engine outputs is maintained for a set time tfe (execution of steps 211, 212) the clutch is completely released (execution of step 215) by a clutch actuator so that the fluctuation of vehicle acceleration which occurs after that is converged substantially in the vicinity of zero.
