SPLICING DEVICE OF WATERPROOF SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a splicing device for waterproof sheets by which waterproof sheets can be spliced to each other by means of a self-propelled splicing device even when a shielding excavator is driven. SOLUTION: The splicing device is used for connecting the overlapped part of a new waterproof sheet laid between an underground tunnel excavated by a shielding excavator and segments and an existing waterproof sheet and constituted of a self-propelled welding device joining the overlapped part and a support device supporting the welding device so as not to drop when the upper part of the waterproof sheets is spliced by the welding device. In this case, the support device of the splicing machine is constituted of a welding device guide 4 supporting and guiding the welding device when the upper part of the overlapped part of the waterproof sheets is spliced, a fitting means composed of metal fittings 4a or the like attaching the welding device guide 4 to the rod 3a of a shield jack so as to be axially unmovable and relatively rotatable, and right and left metal blocks 4b preventing the welding device guide 4 from having a tilt.
