PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rearward confirmation device for vehicle, such as a one-box vehicle, which can attain little dirtiness and size reduction without requiring waterproofing or troublesome routing. SOLUTION: This rearward confirmation device 10 for vehicle consists of a small-sized video camera 11 mounted inside a vehicle rear window 1a and directed rearwards, and a convex mirror 12 which is mounted outside the window 1a with the window 1a put between them facing the lens of the video camera 11. The mirror 12, which is of detachable type and whose angular adjustment is can be made by an angular adjustment part 12a, is protected from the outside by a housing 12b.
