Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aim at a high pressure value directly determining compressor torque and a control current value directly controlling a compressor, based on these two detection signals, estimate compressor torque utilized for stable control of an idle rotational speed of an engine. SOLUTION: In this air conditioner for a vehicle, from a high pressure value of a refrigerating cycle 5 detected by a high pressure sensor 26 and a control current value directly controlling a compressor 7, compressor torque necessary for driving the compressor 7 is calculated. In this way, the compressor torque at idle time is accurately estimated. In this way, dispersion of the estimated and actual compressor torque can be decreased.
