FORMING DIE OPENING AND CLOSING DEVICE AND MOVING DIE BOTTOM DEAD CENTER DISCRIMINATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming die opening and closing device and moving die bottom dead center discriminating device which are additionally advantageous for discriminating the bottom dead center region of a moving die. SOLUTION: This device has a die clamping section 15 for detaining the moving die and the moving die bottom dead center discriminating device having a moving die position detector 2 for detecting the position of the moving die. This discriminating device has a first discriminating means 4 which outputs a first signal M1 by detecting that the moving die is in the bottom dead center region in accordance with the signal from the detector 2, a second discriminating means 7 which output a second signal M2 by detecting that the moving die is in the bottom dead center region in accordance with the signal from the moving die position detector 2 and a condition logic circuit 8 which enables the releasing of the detaining of the die clamping section 15 by outputting a bottom dead center discrimination signal M3 when both of the first signal M1 and the second signal M2 are inputted.
