Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively produce a protein such as a foreign protein by culturing a (non)transformed eukaryocyte under conditions using an inhibitory substrate as a carbon source and restricting the carbon source during a feeding phase and not causing a continuous oxygen restriction during the culture. SOLUTION: This method for producing a protein such as a foreign or different phytase, cellulase, xylanase or industrial enzyme comprises culturing a transformed or non-transformed eukaryocyte under conditions using an inhibitory substrate as a carbon source, restricting the carbon source during a feeding phase and not generating a continuous oxygen restriction during the total period of the culture. It is preferable that the cell is transformed with a DNA sequence containing methylotroph and/or the promoter of an enzyme related to the metabolism of methanol, such as formic acid dehydrogenase promoter, methanol oxidase promoter or dihydroxyacetone synthase. |
