Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a belt from being worn out due to a condition continued, in which both of belt transmission mechanisms are engaged in a tension clutch each presenting a half slip clutch condition less in transmission shock. SOLUTION: This device is so constituted that a shifting lever 15 is provided, which contrarily operates double tension clutches 5a and 5b composed of belt tension mechanism for the high low speeds. A lever operation path is so constituted as to be provided with a change-over area where both the belt transmission mechanisms are engaged in a half slip clutch condition each between a low speed area where the clutch is engaged at the low speed side, and is disengaged at the high speed side, and a high speed area where the clutch is disengaged at the low speed, and is engaged at the high speed side. A regulating means A is so constituted that the shifting lever 15 will not be stopped in the change-over area by means of an unstable change-over mechanism A setting the dead point of the shifting lever 15 at a place close to the change-over area in the high speed area.
