Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust luminous brightness of an EL element a preventing an internal switch element from being destructed when the EL element is dislocated, while suppressing dispersion of the luminous brightness due to dispersion of a capacity of the EL element, in an electroluminescence(EL) drive device. SOLUTION: A comparator 15 of a control device 3 compares a voltage at B point generated by a step-up voltage of an EL element 9 with a reference voltage at C point, and discharges accumulated charge of the EL element 9 by outputting H level and switching on a switch element 10 if the voltage at B point reaches the reference voltage. A light receiving element 2 sends electric current corresponding to outside brightness and changes the reference voltage. Accordingly, a step-up peak voltage of the EL element 9 changes, and luminous brightness of the EL element 9 is adjusted. Since the luminous brightness is adjusted by changing the step-up voltage of the EL element 9, dispersion of the luminous brightness is suppressed, and also an internal switch is prevented from being destructed when the EL element is dislocated. |
