SNOOP FILTER FOR MULTIPROCESSOR COMPUTER SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an improved method and device for distributing processing to the group of plural processors by broadcasting an address request to only the group of processors related with the requested page of a memory. SOLUTION: The address request is broadcasted to only the group of the processors related with the requested page of the memory. Namely, relating to the computer system 200, one address request is selected from among address requests received by an address mutual connector 250. At the same time of broadcasting another non-conflicting address request to the snoop filter of the processor group without relation, the selected address request nearly simultaneously broadcasts to the snoop filter by the connection 250 for all the related processor groups.
