PRODUCTION OF GRADIENT COMPACTED MATERIAL AND PRODUCING DEVICE THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the operating process in the production of a gradient green compact and to reduce the equipment investment. SOLUTION: A molding die 2 fed with powder is rotated, and iron power with different grain sizes is maldistributed by the generated centrifugal force to mold a gradient material 25, and, in a state in which the molding die 2 is rotated, the gradient material 25 is compressed by a compressing axis 4 and is compacted to produce a gradient compacted material. The gradient material molding stage and the compacting stage can be executed by the same molding die 2, and there is no need of composing a gradient material molding device and a compacting device separately an in the conventional manner, by which the equipment investment can be reduced, and furthermore, the operating process is made simple.
