MANUFACTURE OF INK JET HEAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply manufacture an ink jet head having a sidewall to be deformed in a laminating direction. SOLUTION: An insulating board 12 having an electrode layer 13 formed on one side surface is adhered to a piezoelectric member 10 having electrode layers 11 formed on both side surface and polarized in a thickness direction with a conductive adhesive. The member 10 on the board 12 is cut together with the layer 13 on the board 12 at a predetermined interval with a predetermined groove width. The cut member 10 is adhesively fixed to a top plate 18 having conductivity on its surface brought into contact with the electrode layer 11 of the member 10 with the adhesive to form many ink chambers 19 parallel to each other. And, a nozzle plate 24 having ink ejection ports 25 communicating with the respective chambers 19 on front surface of these chambers 19 is adhesive fixed to the member 10.
