CUTTER MECHANISM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration of a wire at the maximum level, by obtaining a structure to lock a motor without depending on the grip of the wire and pulleys, when the movement of a cutting edge bed is finished, in a cutter mechanism to cut by moving the cutting edge bed. SOLUTION: In a cutter mechanism having a conveying means to move a cutting edge bed 5, and a stopper 13 to stop the movement of the edge bed 5, the conveying means has pulleys 8 and 8 provided at the ends in the longitudinal direction of a frame 1, and a wire 14 stretched between the pulleys 8 and 8 and engaged with the edge bed 5 while the pulley 8 has a gear 9 and the edge bed 5 has a rack 18. Since the gear 9 and the rack 18 are engaged with each other when the movement of the edge bed 5 is finished, a motor 11 is locked by the engagement of the gear and the rack.
