Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect the rhizosphere of plant and to control the soil disease damage of plant, especially by a fungus belonging to the genus Verticillium, by coating or mixing a plant seed with a specific bacterium belonging to the genus Streptomyces and seeding the seed. SOLUTION: A plant seed is coated or mixed with OG-102 strain (FERM P-16,493) and/or OG-013 strain (FERM P-16,494) belonging to the genus Streptomyces and seeded or the bacterium is mixed with soil for seeding, soil for raising seedling or soil for cuttage and a plant is cultivated. The bacterium or its culture product is added to a porous substance to give a material for controlling the disease damage of plant, which may be coated or mixed with a seed as the bacterium and blended with soil for seedling.
