OBJECTIVE LENS DRIVER FOR OPTICAL PICKUP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the objective lens driver where the frequency characteristic to drive a lens holder is enhanced. SOLUTION: A shaft hole 24 made to a lens holder of the objective lens driver is formed as a chevron shape by using contraction of a resin at forming. A side pressure F is exerted onto the lens holder in a direction orthogonal to an axial line L of a slide shaft 3 so that a projection 242 projected inward at nearly a middle position in the axial line direction more than both ends in an inner circumferential face 241 of the shaft hole 24 is pressed into contact with an outer circumferential face 31 of the slide shaft at one position. Thus, two-point press contact is avoided to eliminate phase disturbance in the frequency characteristic of the driver when the lens holder is driven.
