Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to produce a controlled conjugated diene polymer in high activity, by comprising a vanadium compd. other than a vanadium metallocene compd., an ionic compd. between an uncoordinated anion and cation, and an organometallic compd. of a group I-III element of the periodic table. SOLUTION: A catalyst is obtd. by contacting (A) a vanadium compd. other than a vanadium metallocene compd., (B) an ionic compd. between an uncoordinated anion and cation, and (C) an organometallic compd. of a group I-III element of the periodic table, at a component A to component B molar ratio of 1:(0.1-10), pref. 1:(0.2-5) and a component A to component C molar ratio of 1:(0.1-1,000), pref. 1:(1-500), followed by aging at 0-100 deg.C for 0.5 min or longer.
