SOLUTION: Exciting thermal flow-velocity sensors 20a, 20b which are small and low-cost and which are known as high-sensitivity sensors are used, and a gas A to be measured in analyzed while it is compared with a gas B for comparison. Concretely, a change in the temperature difference of the gas inside respective flow passage 16a, 16b is measured, a control part 21 computes the eigenvalue KA of the gas A, to be measured, on the basis of the measured value of the change in the temperature difference and on the basis of the eigenvalue KB of the gas B for comparison, and the kind of the gas A to be measured is discriminated on the basis of the computed eigenvalue KA. |
