Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a case structure for meters, etc., which can effectively prevent infiltration of moisture from the outside into a housing incorporating meters, etc., and is provided with a ventilation groove to prevent accumulation of heat generated inside the housing, thereby exhibiting waterproof and ventilation characteristics. SOLUTION: A groove 22 is formed at a suitable point of an opening edge part of a lower housing 11, which rises from an inner part of a character plate- receiving part 17 inside the lower housing along an inner wall face of the lower housing 11 towards an opening edge 11A of the lower housing. A rising end of the groove communicates with the outside of the lower housing 11 at the part of the opening edge 11A of the lower housing 11.
