Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure deodorization of high efficiency, by imparting functions of adsorption and oxidative decomposition to a fin which has a large contacting area, and providing the same in a circulation circuit, in a deodorization unit used as a deodorization function of an air conditioner. SOLUTION: A deodorization unit 1 is provided with fins 2, each having a catalytic layer 4 on the surface thereof which has functions of adsorption and oxidative decomposition. The fins 2 are built up with a given interval therebetween so that a gas circulates between the fins 2, and are thermally integrated into a heating element 3. According to the structure, odorous components are adsorbed by the adsorbing function during a regular operation. When the heating element 3 is applied with an electronic current, the catalytic layer 4 is activated by heat conduction through the fin 2, so that the adsorbed odorous components and those which are parted from the adsorption function are subjected to oxidative decomposition. Thus, the adsorbing ability of the adsorbing function is regenerated, thereby ensuring deodorization function of high performance dispensed with exchange of the deodorization unit 1.
