Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent scattering of grinding fluid to the outside with certainty by covering peripheries and upper sides of a grinding wheel and a regulating wheel of a centerless grinder with a cover, which grinder grinds a work while supplying the grinding fluid, opening and closing a hole for passing a finger holding the work by means of a shutter plate. SOLUTION: A grinding wheel 1, a regulating wheel 2, and peripheral members of a grinder are covered with one cover 11. A rectangular hole 12 through which a finger 5 holding a work 5 can pass is formed on an upper surface of the cover 11, at its portion faced to a work supporter 3. A pair of guide plates 13 are arranged on both sides of the hole 12 in parallel. A shutter plate 14 is arranged between the guide plates 13 and 13 for opening and closing the hole 12. The hole 12 is opened or closed by reciprocating the shutter plate 14 through contraction/extension of an air cylinder 15. A mist sucking tube 16 is connected to a left side surface of the cover 11, which tube is connected to a cyclon mist removal device. |
