FALL SWITCH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall switch which can automatically shut an electric circuit when an electric appliance such as electric heater, a fan heater, a far infrared heater, etc., falls down due to an earthquake or the like. SOLUTION: This fall switch is provided with an electric current shutting switch 5, a lever 4 brought into contact with the switch part of the switch 5 and having a prescribed length and a fulcrum near the switch part, a weight 2 which can push an end part of the lever 4. The electric current shutting switch 5 keeps the electric communication by pushing the lever 4 by the weight 2 and switches to electric current disconnection state when the pushing force of the weight 2 on the lever 4 is eliminated due to rolling of the weight at the time when an appliance having the switch falls down.
