METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING EXHAUST GAS IN INCINERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas processing apparatus in an incinerator capable of easily installing an existing incinerator, and of rapidly cooling high temperature exhaust gas in a reduced space. SOLUTION: Exhaust gas in an incinerator 1 exhausted from a natural discharge smokestack 4 is sucked and cooled by a suction pipe 6 provided parallely to the smokestack 4 together with air in the atmosphere. Suction action of the suction pipe 6 is preferably produced by an air nozzle 7 provided on the top of the suction pipe 6. An exhaust gas processing apparatus for exemplifying the present method includes a natural discharge smokestack 4 for exhaust gas in the incinerator 1, an air nozzle 7 provided on the top of the smokestack, and an air conduit 8 and an air fan 9 for feeding air in the atmosphere to the air nozzle 7. There is further provided a cleaning part 10 below the suction pie 6, and many water spray units 11 are preferably disposed. Furthermore, a lower end of the cleaning part 10 is preferably connected with a neutralization precipitation tank 12 including a discharge cylinder 13.
