Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform always adequate engine control by measuring a corresponding time by timer operation when existence of lacking detected part prevents electromagnetic pickup from deriving a standard time. SOLUTION: Only ten projecting parts 2 as parts to be detected are continuously arranged in 30 deg. interval on the outer periphery of a rotator 1 rotating in association with a crank shaft, lacking parts A are placed on it, and an electromagnetic pickup (PU from now) 3 is placed near the outer periphery of such rotator 1. When the projecting parts 2 pass near the PU 3 in accompany with rotation of the rotator 1, negative electrode pulses are generated at the PU 3 and inputted into an ECU 4. When a time from the PU 3 to a control starting time is set by a setting means for the lacking parts A, time from generation time of pulse generated at the PU 3 to the control starting time is measured by a timer just before nonpulse generation timing, and is used for adequate engine control. |
