Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building material which has satisfactory electromagnetic wave shielding performance and can be manufactured at a low cost, and a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: A building material 1 is manufactured by mixing charcoal powder 3 obtained by pulverizing charcoal and ferrite powder 5 obtained by pulverizing ferrite which is magnetic body at a rate of 1 to 1 with a binder 7 formed of epoxy resin, and then forming the mixture of the charcoal powder 3, the ferrite powder 5 and the binder 7 into a plate shape by extrusion molding. In the case of the thus formed building material 1, the product of the conductivity and magnetic permeability of the building material 1 is increased by the conductivity of the charcoal powder 3 and the magnetism of the ferrite powder, so that electromagnetic waves can be surely shielded. Furthermore, since the material is formed by extrusion molding, it can be manufactured at a low cost, and the thickness of the building material 1 can be secured so as to further improve the shielding performance for the electromagnetic waves. |
