Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cellulosic fiber product hardly causing yellowing or discoloration and excellent in shape stability and a cellulosic fiber product excellent in shape stability and dyeing property. SOLUTION: A cellulosic fiber product to which >=50 wt.% water content is applied is prepared or a cellulosic fiber product to which a hydrotrope agent is attached is prepared. These cellulosic fiber products are treated in steam atmosphere under >=4 kgf/cm absolute pressure at >=140 deg.C for a prescribed time. Yellowing or discoloration can be prevented by the treatment. Good dyeing property is exhibited by dyeing the cellulosic fiber product after the above treatment. A cellulosic fiber product to which water content or hydrotrpe agent is not applied or attached is prepared. The fiber product is treated in hot water under >=4 kgf/cm absolute pressure at >=140 deg.C for a prescribed time. After the treatment, the cellulosic fiber product may by dyed.
