Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing member which is suitable for a flat display device. SOLUTION: A PDP device 1 is hung on a first board 4 installed within a packing case 9 in aroughly vertical state. The hanging is performed by using a fixing metal fitting 3 and a wall-hanging bracket 5 used for installing the PDP device 1 on a wall surface. Further, the first board 4 is erected on a second board 6 supported by a cushioning member 7. Vibration and shock can be absorbed by the flexure of the second board 6 and the cushioning member 7. Vibration and shock, and the like applied to the packing case 9 are not directly applied to the case of the PDP device 1.
