PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify and display foodstuffs stored in a tray and achieve the differentiation and identification of commodities by providing an interval maintaining tool for foodstuff packaging pack, which raises the underface of a transparent film upward so that the film is not brought into contact with the foodstuffs, in the case where an upper opening of the tray (container) storing foodstuffs such as slices of raw fish or daily dishes is wrapped with the transparent film. SOLUTION: This elastically variable interval maintaining tool made of a synthetic resin, which is used for foodstuff packaging pack, comprises an engaging part for being engaged with side walls of a tray 16 and a film support part 14 connectively provided to this engaging part, and is so designed as to support the underface of a transparent film for covering an upper opening of the tray 16 storing foodstuffs and define a space for storing the foodstuffs between the transparent film and the tray 16. This interval maintaining tool has a commodity identification display member 15a for identifying and displaying at least any of contents, kinds, use or objects of the foodstuffs stored in the tray, which is connecutively provided at a top end of the film support part 14.
