Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an air cylinder device compact and make the air cylinder device work more, by utilizing the ability of the air cylinder device as a walking support means effectively. SOLUTION: The positional relation of a first pin P1 connecting the one end of this air cylinder device with a lower member rotatably and a second pin P2 connecting the other end of the air cylinder device with an upper member rotatably, especially the position at which the second pin P2 should be fixed, are determined so as to satisfy the specific condition in the case of the artificial leg being stretched completely. It is preferable, if possible, that the position the air cylinder is fixed to (especially, the position for fixing the second pin 2) can be changed on the basis of different walking speeds, such as usual walking, fast walking, and tripping.
