Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel compound that comprises hNBC3 polypeptide containing an amino acid sequence having high identity to a specific amino acid sequence, and is useful for treatment of diseases relating to hNBC3 of ischemic cardiopathy, arrhythmia, renal ischemia. SOLUTION: This is a novel isolated polypeptide having an amino acid sequence same as that of formula I or II or an amino acid sequence with at least 70% identity to the amino acid of formula I or of formula II and is useful for treatment of diseases relating to hNBC3 as ischemic cardiopathy, arrhythmia, congestive cardiopathy, paroxysmal and renal ischemia. This polypeptide is obtained by standard cloning and screening from cDNA library originating from mRNA in human keratinocyte, thymus, white blood cell and cerebral cell and incorporating the hNBC3 polynucleotide obtained by the tag analysis of the expressed sequence into the vector to prepare the expression system and culturing the host cells transformed with the expression system by the genetic engineering.
