CONTINUOUS ACID-PICKLING EQUIPMENT FOR STEEL SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the perfect removal of rinse water even in the case of a checkered steel sheet without bringing about drastic rising of the cost and lowering of the production efficiency by arranging an exclusive auxiliary heating device to the checkered steel sheet just before the inlet side of a drier in a continuous acid-pickling equipment commonly used to a flat steel sheet and the checkered steel sheet. SOLUTION: After acid-pickling the steel sheet S continuously traveling through an acid pickling vessel 1, warm water is supplied on the surface of the steel sheet S with a rinse device 2 to rinse the stuck acid-pickling solution. Successively, the steel sheet is interposed from the upper and the lower sides with wringer rolls 3 to wipe off the rinse water. Further, the remaining water is blown off with air wipers, and after squeezing the water with finger rolls 5, the steel sheet is heated with a drier 7 and dried and wound with a winding reel through a deflector roll 9. Just before the inlet side, and if necessary, further at the outlet side of the drier 7 in the continuous acid-pickling equipment commonly used to the flat steel sheet and the checkered steel sheet, the auxiliary heating devices 6, 8 are arranged and worked only in the case of continuously acid-pickling the checkered steel sheet. By this constitution, even the water invaded in the recessed part of the checkered steel sheet is perfectly removed.
