Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a disk reproducing device which can detect data highly accurately by setting an optimum frequency characteristic of a waveform equalizing means even in a transit state of a reproducing clock frequency or linear velocity caused at the time of loading a disk and at the time of access. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a waveform equalizing means 20 of which frequency characteristic is variable, a frequency characteristic setting means 30 setting a frequency characteristic of the waveform equalizing means 20, and a reproducing clock frequency detecting means 21 constituting a reproducing speed detecting means, as a means for optimally setting the frequency characteristic of the waveform equalizing means in a transit state of a reproducing clock frequency or linear speed, and the frequency characteristic of the waveform equalizing means 20 is optimally set by the frequency characteristic setting means 30 based on a detected result by the reproducing clock frequency detecting means 21.
