INLET VALVE ASSEMBLY FOR AIR COMPRESSOR AND/OR COMPRESSOR-EXHAUSTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved inlet valve assembly capable of preventing the part of an inlet valve from falling down in the inside of an air compressor when a bolt with a multiple screw is broken. SOLUTION: An inlet valve assembly(IVA) has a buffer plate 10 fastened with the lower end part 11A of a bolt with a multiple screw. A spring plate 12, a guide ring 13, a valve plate 14 and an inlet valve seat 15, are disposed on the upper part of the buffer plate 10, an intermediate screw portion 11B is screwed down on a lock nut 16. An unloader return spring 17, a guide bush 18 and an inlet valve unloader 19 capable of being slid over the guide bush, are disposed on the upper part of the buffer plate, and an upper end part 11C is screwed down on a lock nut 20. In order to prevent the part of an inlet valve from falling down in the inside of a compressor when the bolt is broken, a plurality of tab portions 10A projected in the radial direction are provided on the peripheral part of the buffer plate.
