Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable multiphase emulsion minimized in the amount of a surfactant used. SOLUTION: There are provided a multiphase emulsion comprising a water phase 12 constituting a continuous phase, an oil drop phase or oil drops 14 dispersed in the phase 12, water drops 16 being an inner water drop phase and dispersed through the drop 14 and particles 18 or the like being a water- insoluble compound and floating in the inner water drop phase and a process for producing a multiphase emulsion comprising the steps of providing an aqueous suspension of a water-insoluble compound, providing an oil phase, forming a water-in-oil emulsion in a state in which the above suspension is present in the oil phase, providing a water phase constituting a continuous phase and forming an emulsion in which the water-in-oil emulsion is present in the water phase in the presence of a surfactant.
