BATHTUB CLEARANCE MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unnecessitate sealing operation by a sealing material by mounting a molded member molded of rubber, etc., at a clearance between the upper edge of a bathtub and the wall or the counter, etc., of a bathroom to seal. SOLUTION: This bathtub clearance member 1 is molded by an elastic body such as rubber. Concerning the member 1 for example, a cross section presents nearly a triangle, an upper surface 1a is formed to be a curved surface tilting to the side of the bathtub 2 and each corner part 1b is gradually thinned in thickness and acute. In addition, a surface in contact with the bathtub 2 of the member 1 is formed to be the curved surface corresponding to the round-part of the upper edge 2a of the bathtub 2 and formed to be an adhesive surface 4 applied with an adhesive material. A surface in contact with a wall 3 is formed to be a plane and formed to be an adhesive surface 5 applied with an adhesive material. The member 1 is easily mounted by sticking the surface 4 to the round part of the upper edge 2a of the bathtub 2 and sticking the surface 5 to the wall 3 at the same time and seal a clearance between the upper edge 2a of the bathtub 2 and the wall 3 of the bathroom. Sealing operation by silicone, etc., is abolished to simplify operation to reduce the time required for execution.
