PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for supplying electronic components and electronic components mounting device by which the mounting cycle time for electronic components can be shortened and electronic components can be supplied stably. SOLUTION: A tape-carrying device 130 which can carry a tape 21 regardless of the main body section 122 of an electronic parts supplying device 120, whether the section 122 is moving or stopping, is provided to the main body section 122 and a tape 21 is carried to a component supplying position 125 by means of a tape carrying device 130 so as to arrange electronic components 23. Therefore, the mounting cycle time of the electronic components 23 can be shortened, because the electronic component supplying device 120 is required to stop only for the time period when the device 120 is holding the components 23. Since the arm of a feed lever drive mechanism does not come into contact with the electronic component supplying device 120 as in the case of the conventional example, unrequired vibrations may not occur and the electronic component supplying device 120 can stably supply the parts 23.
