Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave absorbing wall for UHF band which can be constructed easily and has the same or higher weatherability and strength as those of the conventional wave absorbing wall. SOLUTION: A wave absorbing wall having an absorbing characteristic such that the peak value of its return loss in the frequency range of 470-770 MHz is -14 dB is obtained by arranging sintered ferrite tiles 1 at relatively large intervals in the direction of the magnetic field component of arriving electromagnetic waves, so that the magnetic materials in the tiles 1 is arranged at required intervals in the direction of the electric field component of the arriving electromagnetic waves. However, since the tiles 1 can be respectively fixed in advance to the backside of individual exterior materials, by appropriately selecting the dimensions of the tiles 1 or the intervals in the direction of the magnetic field component, the required number of individual exterior materials can be arranged so as to constitute an external wall when a wet method is adopted or the wave absorbing wall can be constructed simultaneously with the arranging work of the exterior materials in a mold frame for constituting the external wall, even for a dry method. Therefore, the workability of the constructing work of the radio absorbing wall is markedly improved.
