TIME CODE DETECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time code detector capable of preventing the erroneous detection of the time code by automatically discriminating the error of the time code. SOLUTION: By a majority circuit 25, it is judged that the specified time code is detected, when two or more coincidence detecting results are inputted among the coincidence detecting results of the present time code from a comparator 17, of the time code one frame before from a comparator 18 and of the time code two frames before from a comparator 19, then time code detection signal is outputted. Thus, the time code specified by a time code input device 11 is detectable even when the time code value of one frame among the consecutive three frames is not read out correctly. Also, the time code detecting signals are outputted by AND circuits 28, 29 based on the coincidence detecting result of the time codes between the present frame and one frame after and that of the time codes between one frame and two frames after.
