METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROPOSING FINANCIAL ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a financial article corresponding to the balance of a deposit in consideration of the funds that a customer can handle. SOLUTION: When a request for article information is made on an automatic teller machine(ATM), deposit balance data on the customer is taken out of a ledger file 101 on the host side. Then funds that can be handled are calculated by a handlable fund calculation part 201 according to the acquired deposit balance data. Then the balance section number corresponding to the handlable funds is derived by referring to a balance section table 103. Further, the number of days of the balance section that the customer has belonged to is saved in a day number count table 104 and the balance section for a provided article which is the number of the balance section having the largest day number in it is determined. Then article information corresponding to the balance section number for the provided article is extracted by referring to an article table 102 and stored in a provided article table 100 by the customers. The data are displayed on the terminal screen of the automatic teller machine(ATM).
