CHART TYPE COLOR SAMPLES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient chart type of color samples permitting to not only compare and estimate crossed densities of two colors only by looking at one chart type of color samples without coming and going to plural charts of color samples, but also compare and estimate crossed densities of three colors or more, especially of similar colors. SOLUTION: A matrix M is formed by taking densities of a 1st basic color C1 on the vertical axis and densities of a 2nd basic color C2 on the horizontal axis. Matrix components M(1, 1)-M (12, 12) of the matrix M consist of color blocks B, B,... according to their densities, and each color block B, B... according to the densities is colored on the basis of crossing the 1st base color C1 and the 2nd base color C2 according to the densities. Further, each color block, B, B,... according to densities is subdivided into gratings of four small blocks b1-b4, and each of these small, blocks b1-b4 is further crossed with 3rd basic colors C3 of different densities of 30%, 40%, 50%, and 60% respectively.
