Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject preparation for external use, having unnaturally white coating color when using, capable of manifesting excellent activities for protecting ultraviolet rays by combining a specific fine particles of titanium dioxide with a specific ultraviolet absorber and/or an ultraviolet-scattering agent. SOLUTION: This preparation for external use is obtained by formulating (A) fine particles of titanium dioxide preferably having average primary particle diameter of 10-100 nm, and substantially in the state of non-cohesion and (B) an absorbing agent of ultraviolet rays A (preferably 4-tert-butyl-4'- methoxybenzoylmethane, etc.), and/or a scattering agent of ultraviolet rays A. The scattering agent of the ultraviolet rays A is preferably a powder of zinc oxide, cerium oxide or the like and preferably has an average particle diameter of 10-150 nm. Preferably, the component A is formulated in the proportion of 1-25 wt.% in the preparation for external use. The component B is preferably formulated in the proportion of 1-25 wt.% when the scattering agent of the ultraviolet rays A is used. When the absorbing agent of the ultraviolet rays A is used, the component B is preferably formulated in the proportion of 0.5-10%. |
