Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering device which can make sensibility higher and give a linearity to output characteristics. SOLUTION: In the torque sensor of a power steering device, an initial overlapped part of the toothed part 17a of an outer sensor ring is inclined to the rotary direction of an input shaft and obliquely formed in a notch-shape to set up the inclination angle of a tooth in the toothed part as β, and the tip of the toothed part 16a of an inner sensor ring is offsetly arranged so that an overlapping face LD may exist from the initial notch point α of the overlapped part of the toothed part 17a. When a toothed part 17a of an outer sensor ring provided on the input shaft rotates relatively to the toothed part 16a of the inner sensor ring provided on the output shaft, the toothed part 17a and overlapped faces Lu, Ld being an overlapped part of the toothed part 16a vary in their areas. These area variations of the overlapped face are detected as the variation of inductance through a detection coil to detect a rotary torque acting between an input and an output shaft. |
