PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the appearance while preventing meandering and torsion of decorative stitching of a surface skin material by positioning a seaming line of decorative stitching at a stage difference of a center pad base material, and covering a plate surface of the center pad base material with a surface skin material for enveloping a cushion foam material. SOLUTION: A center pad base material 1 is formed with a stage difference 10, of which ridge line is provided in a surface skin material 3 and which positionally corresponds to a seam line of a decorative stitching 3c. At the time of covering a plate surface of the center pad base material 1 with the surface skin material 3, cushion foam materials 2a, 2b are previously adhered to the plate surface except for a lower stage surface of the stage difference part 10 by a width corresponding to a belt width of a board material 11. Thereafter, the decorative stitching 3c of the surface skin material 3 is adhered to the stage surface lower than the stage difference 10 of the center pad base material 1 while positioning the decorative stitching 3c at a ridge line of the stage difference 10. With this structure, since the decorative stitching 3c can be positioned long the ridge line of the stage difference 10, generation of meandering and torsion an be prevented so as to improve the appearance.
