Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for correcting the bend of a shaft and method for correcting the bend of shaft by which the correction rate of bend is raised. SOLUTION: This device 1 for correcting the bend of the shaft is provided with a controller 16 for executing press control of the tip shaft part of a worm shaft 50 by pressing means when the tip shaft part 50c and worm part 50b are linearly bent to the shaft main body 50a, and, on the other hand, for executing pressing control by pressing means while bringing an anvil 14a into contact with the worm part 50b when the bend in the worm part 50b to the shaft main body 50a is small and the tip shaft part 50c is bent to the worm part 50b.
