Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily control puffing of starches and to easily obtain desired texture of foods by successively connecting a paste source supply means, steam supply means, heating and mixing means with multi-stages, degassing means and feeding means as in-line processes. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with, successively from the upstream side to the downstream side as in-line connection with pipings, a source material tank 5, a source material transport pump 6, heating and mixing devices 1, 2 of two stages connected in series, a holding pipe 3 to maintain the fluid for a specified time to apply specified back pressure to the heaters 1, 2, an air- pressure type valve 4, a flash tank 7 to jet the liquid into vacuum to deaerate and defoam, and a drawing pump 10 to draw and set the degassed and defoamed fluid. The steam is supplied through two branched pipes to the heating and mixing device 1, 2. To the flash tank 7, a heat exchanger 9 to cool the removed steam, and a vacuum pump 8 to evacuate the flash tank 7 are connected.
