Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new compound consisting of a separated polypeptide containing an amino acid sequence having high identity to a specific amino acid sequence and useful e.g. for the treatment and diagnosis of hypercardia, cardiac failure, ischemia, arrhythmia, hypertension, atherosclerosis, cancer, etc. SOLUTION: This new polypeptide is a separated polypeptide containing an amino acid sequence having identity of >=70% to the amino acid sequence of the formula I and a separated polypeptide containing an amino acid sequence having identity of >=70% to the amino acid sequence of the formula II. It is useful e.g. for the treatment and diagnostic assay of hypercardia, cardiac failure, ischemia, arrhythmia, hypertension, atherosclerosis, restenosis, chronic and acute inflammation, cerebral attack, rheumatoid arthritis, disseminated sclerosis, intestinal disease, diabetes, cancer, etc. The polypeptide can be produced from a cDNA library originated from mRNA in a cell such as human brain, heart or fetus dura cell by preparing a gene from the library by standard cloning and screening technique and expressing the gene in a host cell by recombination technique.
