Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject mechanism capable of solving such a problem in a swingable control sprinkler that a final gear is connected directly and fixedly to a bearing case and hence a driving force transmitted by a reduction gear is large and the final gear or the reduction gear engaged therewith is broken. SOLUTION: This swingable control sprinkler comprises a safety clutch 84 mounted between a final gear 34 and bearing case, the safety clutch comprising steel balls 88 driven by springs 89, a clutch plate 85 engaging with the steel ball 88, and a gear-mounting plate 87 for fixing the clutch plate to the final gear, wherein the springs and steel balls are disposed in insert holes 10g formed on a side surface, opposed to the final gear, of the bearing case 10.
